Welcome to the Armour Heights P.S. website! We hope that this becomes one of your favourite sites. We will continue to post information relevant
to the school community on a regular basis. School and classroom information will be posted to this site on a monthly basis to help keep you
informed. Armour Heights P. S. is a school of approximately 242 students from junior kindergarten to grade eight. We will be welcoming full day early learning in the fall of 2012 - 2013.
Armour Heights P. S. is a vibrant, caring school offering lots of extra / co-curricular activities to enhance the academic programming offered. Sports
teams for our junior / intermediate grades take place during nutritional breaks as well as after and before school. We encourage all students to get
involved and be proud of their school.
As parents and teachers working together, we are preparing our students to become positive, contributing members of our society. The staff at
Armour Heights P. S. are committed to providing a supportive, stimulating environment most conducive to developing the whole child. Through
implementing sound, curriculum based programs, we systematically develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes that result in life-long successful
learners. Our teaching emphasis is to enable students to connect what they learn with their own life experiences. Our commitment to excellence
will help ensure that our students will achieve success now and in the future.
This website represents another forum to support our goal of on-going communication with our parents and the school community at large.
